Day 1 Arrive in Ha Noi

On arrival at Hanoi's Noi Bai Airport, our guide will greet and transfer you by private car through the city to your hotel……

Hanoi, Vietnam’s quaint capital is a city of wide tree lined boulevards with tranquil lakes and colonial villa’s and a more sedate pace than other Asian cities. Hanoi offers something for everyone and will leave you wishing that you had longer to explore this enthralling capital.

Evening, welcome you with a Vietnamese dinner with a French touch in one of Hanoi's most charming restaurants housed in a beautiful villa.

Day 2 HANOI, city highlights   

After breakfast depart for an insider’s tour of the capital. Start with a tour of the Long Bien Bridge (originally name Doumer Bridge) which was built in 1902 by Sir Gustave Eiffel. Take a walking tour of this fascinating structure to learn more on how this bridge helped shape Hanoi’s future. From Long Bien, drive to the capital’s Old Quarter. This bustling area of narrow streets and alleys is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. It's a great place to explore with plenty of photo opportunities all around you. A mixture of village and old way of life amidst a modern and growing city offer amazing contrasts. Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university, also referred to as Van Mieu, was established within a temple to educate Vietnam's royalty. Time permitting, or as an alternative to one of the above, visit the highly acclaimed Vietnam Women’s Museum which displays highlight Vietnam’s vast cultural diversity and educate on the significant role Vietnamese women play in Vietnamese society. If you wish, we will make the stops at West Lake and one of the oldest Buddhist pagodas in Hanoi, Tran Quoc. The romantic Than Nhien causeway where the pagoda and temple are situated makes an excellent backdrop for photographs.

Day 3 HANOI, HALONG bay 

Hạ Long Bay, in northeast Vietnam, is known for its emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands topped by rainforests. Junk boat tours and sea kayak expeditions take visitors past islands named for their shapes, including Stone Dog and Teapot islets. The region is popular for scuba diving, rock climbing and hiking, particularly in mountainous Cát Bà National Park. 

08:00 – 08:30 Leaving Hanoi after breakfast for Halong bay. 
12.00 – 13.00 Arrive at Tuan Chau island – Take break and welcome drink at Image Halong Cruise Lounge.
Transfer to Pelican Halong Cruise.
13.00 – 19.30 Welcome drink – receive cruise briefing, safety instructions and check in. Start cruising and explore Halong Bay – one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.
Enjoy lunch with Vietnamese and International dishes served while cruising through the bay, passing the most beautiful and quiet areas, such as Incense Burner, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock, Soi Sim beach, Coconut Three Island.
Visiting Luon cave, the perfect combination of lime-stone mountains and jade-green sea by bamboo boat with local people or kayaking based on your preference. Enjoy quiet space and pure air, you will feel relaxed truly. If you are lucky, you will see monkeys on islands.
Visiting the beautiful Ti Top beach for swimming (if the weather permits), Ti Top Beach is especially famous for its fresh atmosphere, clean water, and smooth white sand that create a great ambiance for tourists to relax or passengers can take steps to reach on the top of Ti Top beach to have a whole panorama view of Halong Bay. Back to the boat and free time while sailing to Luon Bo area, and anchor overnight.
Attend the Cooking class on sundeck – How to make Vietnamese spring rolls – traditional Vietnamese food. It is time for chit chat and relaxing. Watch the magnificent sunset over Halong Bay.
19.30 – 23.00 Dinner – Deluxe Vietnamese and International BBQ Set Menu Dinner.

Day 4 Cruise on the bay 

06.00 – 08.30 Taking part in Tai Chi class on the sundeck (duration about 30 minutes).
Coffee, tea and pastries for breakfast are served in the dining room with morning view of bay’s landscape.
08.30 – 19.30 Transfer to day boat for visiting Vung Vieng village. Visit “Vung Viêng” village by a rustic – row boat, meet the local people who will help you row the boat for sightseeing. Enjoy quiet space and fresh air, you will feel truly relaxing. Then Set Menu Lunch will be served on day boat.
Time for sunbathing on sundeck, enjoy beauty of the Bai Tu Long bay and free kayaking and swimming at Bai Tu Long bay area, a pristine natural one lapped by turquoise water (if the weather permit). Possibility of kayaking through an amazing tunnel carved under a limestone mountain. Back to Pelican Halong Cruise. Free time on boat for relaxing.
Attend the Cooking class on sundeck. Watch the magnificent sunset over Halong Bay.
19.30 – 23.00 Deluxe Vietnamese Dinner will be served.

Day 5 HALONG, HANOI, DANANG, HOIAN   

06.00 – 08.00 The day starts early onboard with Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Tai chi, also called Tai chi chuan, combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow and gentle movements. Coffee, tea and pastries for breakfast are served in the dining room with morning view of bay’s landscape.
08.00 – 11.30 Transfer by tender to Sung Sot Cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance. It takes approximately 45 minutes for cave visiting. Visit Sung Sot Cave, one of the most biggest cave in Halong bay with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Return to the boat by tender……Ready for check out. 

Have a lunch while cruising back to the Tuan Chau Wharf. Relaxing on the sundeck or in the dining room enjoying the bay scenery while approaching the wharf…… Disembark and transfer to Hanoi for our flight heading to Danang. Get the pick up on arrival and continue to our selected resort on Hoian. Rest on your own in the evening.

Day 6 HOIAN; walking tour & Vietnamese cooking class    

Discover the history and flavours of Vietnam during this walking and cooking tour of Hoi An. Now a UNESCO World Heritage site, Hoi An's Old Town is packed with buildings of historical and cultural significance, and boasts a number of streets that are off-limits to cars. Stroll past the many Chinese Assembly Halls, from the Cantonese Chinese Congregation with its impressive main altar, to the Hainan Chinese Congregation, which serves as a memorial to 107 merchants from Hainan Island who were mistaken for pirates and killed during the reign of Emperor Tu Duc. Stop by the Japanese Covered Bridge, which was constructed in the 1590s by the town’s Japanese community to link them with the Chinese quarters across the stream.

After this brief walking tour of Hoi An, head to a family-run restaurant for a delightful local cooking class. The chef will run through the range of delicious dishes that you will recreate. Learn how to choose the best supplies, and discover some of the less-familiar ingredients, then head back to the restaurant ready to cook…Pick up recipes to wow your family and friends with and discover the tricks to making some of the legendary Vietnamese dishes at home. Sit down to feast on all the delicious dishes you’ve created, and promise yourself (and us) that you'll share this culinary glory when you get home.

Day 7 HOIAN; countryside bike ride   

Spend a day leisurely cycling though the scenic countryside of Vietnam, far from the traffic the motor scooters, and the noises the city. You will cross the islands on the Song Thu river delta using local transportation, including ferries and floating bridge . This tour will take you to discover how wooden river boats  are made, learn the secret of weaving the colorful straw “Hoi An” sleeping mats, try the renowned Vietnamese basket boats . You will spend the day with first-hand contact with one of the rural inhabitant of the region, far from the usual tourist circuits…..At lunchtime you will be invited into the home of a local Vietnamese family for a traditional Vietnamese meal, and learn their customs and traditions. After lunch and break, you will begin your return towards Hoi An, which will take about an hour.

Day 9 HOIAN, DANANG, NHATRANG  

A short flight southwards leads you to Nha Trang, Vietnam's beach capital known for its golden stretches of sand, crystal clear waters and idyllic islands. Check into the exclusive beach resort on arrival and chill out the beach.

Day 10 NHATRANG, day free (or join day tour with Emperor cruise)

Spend the day at your leisure. Play at the beach and explore the city on your own.

Optional tour = US$75/person: Nha Trang, the “Riviera of the East Sea” by Emperor Cruises. 
Board the five-star all-inclusive Emperor Cruises to explore these numerous islands, some inhabited and many dotted with idyllic fishing villages. Swim and snorkel in some of the secluded bays in the area.  Experience a dream getaway and idyllic destinations in the privacy of your fully crewed boat, with meals, drinks, transfers and activities on an all-inclusive basis.
- Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Nha Trang Port to board the Emperor Cruises Junk.
- Arrival at the port where you will be greeted by the Experiences Manager with a welcome drink. Introduction to Nha Trang Bay, the locals, the food, the culture, the emperor, safety precautions, and the Emperor Cruises Junk. Start cruising through the spectacular landscape of Nha Trang Bay.
- Cruising past the Tam, Mot, and Mun Islands in Nha Trang Bay. Your destination is Bai Cau in Dam Bay Lagoon, near the famous diving Mun Island site where you can opt for some scuba diving (additional charge).
- You arrive at our Emperor Cruises’ Secret Beach in Bai Cauwhere you can either go snorkeling, swimming, fishing, walking, kayaking in either a normal or glass-bottomed kayak, or try a basket boat. Alternatively, just relax at our Mango Bar under the big tree, enjoying the stunning views of the Emperor Cruises’ sails against the clear blue waters of the bay.
- After so much activity, you will surely be hungry. You will be served a sumptuous set lunch on board with local beers, fine wine, or premium spirits as the boat anchors at Tam Island with its tranquil lagoon and fish farms.
- The next destination of this afternoon is Mieu Island for a walking tour to visit the local fishing villages. Learn about the way of life away from the mainland and interact with the friendly locals while learning a little about the daily lives of the villagers. Spend a few minutes exploring the beautiful landscape by basket boat as you head over to fish farms.
- You then transfer back to the mother by speedboat. Welcome back to the boat and enjoy a refreshing coconut milk, which is the specialty of the region.Cruise back to Nha Trang Harbor, catching a glimpse of the Bao Dai Villas as we return to the mainland.
- At the port and drive you back the hotel.

Day 11 NHATRANG, SAIGON, VESPA ride after dark  

Have breakfast and take the departure for the dynamic Saigon on a short flight. Meet our person & drive to hotel for check in.  

In the late afternoon, we enjoy a foodie night out on the town with Vespa Team….This Saigon night tour is part night excursion, part street food adventure. Experience Saigon nightlife the way locals do, all from the back of a vintage Vespa scooter.

To start off this Saigon night tour, enjoy drinks at our Vespa-themed café, Café Zoom, to watch “as the world goes by” (as said in the Lonely Planet guide book). Throughout the night, try a variety of food and drinks at 2 local restaurants and samplings of Saigon’s best authentic street food. Zoom past the famous must-see sights of Ho Chi Minh City while in the bustling traffic. We’ll also go to a Vietnamese-style coffee shop with special live music, and then wrap up the evening at an exciting Rock music bar where the new generation of Vietnamese unwind and flaunt their unique styles. Guests ride pillion behind our drivers to enjoy and experience the Vietnamese nightlife with friends. This tour includes free flowing drinks and all you can eat, so come with an appetite!

Day 12 SAIGON, MEKONG DELTA with Victoria cruises 

Our two-day “Life on the River” cruise gives you a deeper insight into life in the Mekong Delta. Starting either from Cai Be or Can Tho, it stops for visits along the way.

- Be picked up at your hotel and transfer to Cai Be by road. 
- Depart from Phu An jetty at 10h00am. Stop along the way for glimpses of local handicrafts that provide a living for the river people. Observe from the comfort of your boat life as it play out on the riverbanks - the people, the stunning landscapes – while your attentive crew serves tea and seasonal fruit. 
- Before arriving at Sa Dec, go ashore to visit a pottery factory where everything is made by hand and all is recycled. 
- Arrive in Sa Dec and take a stroll to the outdoor market. Visit the local celebrity: the ancient house of Huynh Thuy Le, real-life character of the novel and film “The Lover by Marguerite Duras. 
- Lunch is served on board while cruising towards Can Tho along a narrow canal teeming with life. 
- You will pass monkey bridges and tiny villages before stopping for a visit to a Cao Dai Temple. Cycle or row in a small boat around the countryside to explore the surroundings. 
- Your last stopover before sunset is at an ancient house, a “Nha Co” dating back to the 19th Century. The owner welcomes you and a candlelit dinner is served in this authentic countryside setting. 
- After dinner return on board while Song Xanh continues its cruise towards Hau River.

- Early wake-up for a visit to the famous Cai Rang Floating Market up at 6h00am which only operates from 5h00 to 8h00am every day. 
- Breakfast is served on board while the Song Xanh navigates towards the market among local barges laden with fruit and vegetales. Be sure to have your camera ready! 
- Later on, cruise towards Victoria Can Tho and disembark at the hotel’s private jetty. 
- Meet our team and drive back Saigon for another night.
