About Phu Quoc Island |

Phu Quoc is called a pearl and an evergreen island of Vietnam. Located in the Gulf
of Thailand, 45km from HaTien city, 120km from Rach Gia by sea, Phu Quoc is an island
district of Kien Giang province. This island is the largest one in Vietnam. View
from above, Phu Quoc covers green colours, a variety of resplendent green colours
that mix altogether, creating a splendid landscape.
How to get there: Rach Gia town is 250km from Hochiminh city. Phu
Quoc is 120km west of Rach Gia by sea. |

DUONG DONG: Duong Dong is the chief town of Phu Quoc and a big
fishing port located on the central wast coast of the island. The Phu Quoc airport
and most of the hotels on the island are located here.
SUOI TRANH (TRANH STREAM): It springs from Ham Ninh stone range,
consists of many smaller streams which edge their way from the ravines through green
grass carpets, and join the main current to become a big stream.
DA BAN STREAM: It is situated in the central south of the island,
is murmuring down through the hills all year round, passing splendid and charming
sceneries, with wild ginseng roots and beautiful orchids.
BAI SAO BEACH: the most beautiful beach on Phu Quoc island. It
is famous for its white sand, which resembles powdered chalk. Sao Beach is situated
on the south of Phu Quoc island, 25km from Duong Dong and 5km from An Thoi port. |
